・Riders looking for a performance-oriented log
・Ideal for head-high to overhead waves
[Design & Feel]
Originally shaped in 2018 for Tosh Tudor, the POPE was inspired by a classic Phil Edwards Honolulu model from the late 60s–early 70s — an era focused on creating the most performance-driven longboards of the time.
The design avoids heavy nose concave, allowing for clean, uninterrupted trimming with no hang-ups. The rocker is slightly relaxed, and an extra half-inch of width adds versatility for a wider range of conditions.
Because it doesn’t rely on a wide noserider-style outline, some surfers also ride the POPE as a glider or speed shape.
[Performance]
Fast, flowing, and smooth — built for surfers who want glide and performance rather than traditional noseriding.
