[Who Is This Board For?]
・Surfers who want a modern take on a noserider
・Riders looking for more responsiveness off the tail
・Great for chest-high to slightly overhead surf
[Design & Feel]
This is Joel Tudor’s interpretation of the modern noserider — based on the Nuuhiwa noserider but updated with design refinements developed over the last 40 years.
The outline keeps a full nose and tail for stability, while subtle modern adjustments make the board more reactive and versatile.
Key design features:
・Less roll in the bottom than traditional logs
・60/40 rails for added bite and control
・Softly dished concave (not overly defined)
・Balanced rocker with smooth entry
・Tail lift for responsiveness, but less than classic logs
The biggest difference is near the tail block, where a subtle edge in the last few inches gives clear feedback when stepping on the tail.
[Performance]
Stable for noseriding, but noticeably more responsive off the tail — making it a true modern crossover longboard.
